Service Policy
Payments
Maids 4 Westchester accepts both credit and debit cards as payment methods. We collect your card information at the time of booking; however, no charge is made at this stage. Instead, an authorization hold for the total service amount will be placed on your account one day prior to the scheduled service. Please note that this hold is not an actual charge.
After the service is completed, your card will be billed, and you will receive an invoice via email. Unless otherwise specified, all customers are required to provide and authorize payment information before the job begins. If your service is canceled for any reason, the authorization hold will be released within 2-5 business days.

Maids 4 Westchester is proud to offer a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee because your satisfaction is our top priority. After your service, we kindly ask that you conduct a mandatory inspection with your cleaning team, using our cleaning checklist as a guide. If any areas require additional attention, our team will gladly re-clean them at no additional charge during the time of service.
Please note that it is important to carefully inspect all areas during the walk-through, as our services will be considered complete once the inspection is finished. Any further requests for service will be subject to additional charges. If you are unable to perform the inspection due to being unavailable, not at home, or choosing not to do so, our 100% Satisfaction Guarantee will be void.
Pro Tip: For move-out cleanings, we highly recommend inviting your landlord to join the walk-through inspection with our cleaners. To help us best meet your expectations, you can also provide us with your landlord’s cleaning checklist prior to your service appointment
Arrival Window
We strive to arrive promptly for all appointments, but we kindly request that customers allow a 1-2 hour arrival window. This helps us account for potential delays due to traffic, parking, or unforeseen circumstances. Your understanding is greatly appreciated.
Maximum Hours
Our flat-rate pricing model includes a set number of hours for each type of job. If the job requires additional time beyond the allotted hours, an hourly rate of $40 will apply. This ensures that we can adequately accommodate larger or more intensive tasks. However, exceeding the maximum time is uncommon, and if we anticipate needing extra time, we will always inform the customer before completing the job.
Cleaning
Stain and Mold Removal
While we strive to achieve the highest standard of cleanliness, please note that we cannot guarantee the complete removal of all stains and mold on grout and tile in the bathroom and kitchen. Rest assured, our team will make every effort to address these areas to the best of our ability.
Move Out Cleaning
For our Move Out cleaning service, we kindly request that all furniture and personal belongings be removed from the premises prior to our arrival. Additionally, to ensure the highest quality of service, we ask that no moving activities take place during the cleaning. This allows our team to focus fully on delivering an exceptional clean.
If you would like us to clean around or beneath large appliances, we ask that you move them beforehand. For liability reasons, our team is unable to move these items.
Deep Cleaning
To help us provide the most thorough cleaning possible, we kindly ask that you remove clothing, personal items, and clear cluttered areas before our team arrives for a Deep Clean service. This will enable our cleaners to efficiently access and clean all surfaces.
Safety
Ceiling Fan Cleaning
Reaching Ceiling Fans: We’re happy to clean your ceiling fans as long as they are accessible via a 2-3 step ladder. Due to liability and safety reasons, our team is unable to clean ceiling fans located higher than 6 feet or those requiring the use of a full-sized ladder.
Light Fixture Cleaning
High Light Fixtures: Our team can dust and clean light fixtures that are easily accessible. However, for safety and liability reasons, we are unable to clean fixtures that are positioned too high or require the use of a ladder taller than 3 steps.
Chandelier Cleaning
Delicate Chandelier Cleaning: We are happy to carefully dust and clean your chandeliers, provided they are within reach without the need for extensive ladder use. For safety and liability reasons, we cannot clean chandeliers that require disassembly or are positioned too high.
Blind and Shade Cleaning
Window Blind and Shade Cleaning: We can clean blinds and shades that are within easy reach. Due to liability reasons, we ask that blinds or shades requiring ladder access be lowered or removed by the customer prior to our arrival.
Furniture Moving
Heavy Furniture Moving: While we will gladly clean around your furniture, we are unable to move heavy furniture such as couches, beds, or large tables. For safety reasons, we ask that you move these items before our arrival if you would like us to clean the area beneath or behind them.
High Cabinet Cleaning
Cleaning High Cabinets: We can clean the exterior and interior of cabinets that are within easy reach. For safety and liability reasons, we cannot clean cabinets that require standing on countertops or climbing ladders higher than 3 steps.
Garage Cleaning
Garage Cleaning Access: We can clean garages provided that the space is clear and accessible. Due to safety concerns, we are unable to move heavy equipment or vehicles within the garage. We kindly ask that these items be moved prior to our arrival.
Attic and Basement Cleaning
Limited Access Areas: We can clean attics and basements as long as they are well-lit, dry, and safe to access. For safety reasons, we cannot clean these areas if they require extensive climbing, are cluttered, or pose a risk of injury.
Pet-Related Cleaning
Cleaning in Areas with Pets: We kindly ask that pets be secured during our cleaning to ensure their safety and that of our staff. Our team is unable to clean pet enclosures or move pet-related furniture and items due to liability concerns.
Outdoor Window Cleaning
Exterior Window Cleaning: We offer exterior window cleaning services for ground-level windows or those accessible with a 2-3 step ladder. For safety and liability reasons, we are unable to clean windows that require the use of tall ladders or specialized equipment.
